Making the world see purple for World Pancreatic Cancer Day

November 25, 2015 – Now in its second year, World Pancreatic Cancer Day is on November 13 – a 48-hour global event dedicated to promoting awareness of the little-known disease that ranks among the deadliest of cancers. RBMM was tasked with developing a web and social presence for the day that would engage current supporters to help spread the word about the disease to those not intimately acquainted with the cause.

Leading up to November 13, we provided supporters with social assets and actions to tag and share during the day. This user-generated content was then aggregated on the World Pancreatic Cancer Day website, providing a real-time snapshot of global social support for the day and the cause.

By the end of the day, over 17,000 social posts helped raise awareness by driving more than 26,000 unique visitors from 103 countries to the World Pancreatic Cancer Day website – helping raise much-needed awareness of a deadly disease.
