Central Market Website

A lot of companies say that their brand is a brand “experience,” but high-end Texas grocer Central Market puts their money where their mouth is. They pride themselves on being not just a grocery store, but a foodie community. Their growing community of loyal fans loves Central Market not just because they have the largest variety in just about every food category in the state of Texas, but also for their vast library of recipes, the ever-changing cooking classes they offer several times a week, and their knowledgeable employees (whom Central Market calls “Foodies”), who have undergone rigorous training and testing to become experts in, well, food.
When we set out to redesign their site, we wanted to capture that brand experience and bring Central Market’s love of all things food to life.
The new site not only functions as a place where their users can see all that Central Market has to offer, but it looks fun, too. Users can experience the site just like they experience all the store has to offer, with most users seeing all that Central Market has to offer for the first time. This has allowed Central Market to take better advantage of their social media outlets, being able to point posts and tweets to unique URLs in the site that target specific events, blog posts, and promotions.
